Our annual all membership meeting
is being held Thursday, September 16, 2010
6:00 pm, in the cafeteria of
Las Vegas High School , 6500
E. Sahara.
All current members are urged to
attend.

A ceremony was held Sept 10, 2010
dedicated by Judge Lloyd D. George (class of 1948)

Yay we, along with the
band, won the "Best of Helldorado - Originality" award for 2010.

We are currently forming a mentoring service
for the students of Las Vegas High School.
We will staff this service with alumni willing to devote time and
information to any interested students.
Mentoring is on a strictly volunteer basis.
There are two downloadable forms -
one for applying to be a mentor
the other for students to show what they may be
interested in.

The annual Wildcat Reunion for ALL alumni of LVHS was
held on Saturday, September 12, 2009

Invitations are historically sent out in mid-July. If you did not receive one
this year, you
are not on our mailing list.
For inclusion both now and in the future please contact Patty Haack at

Until you are on
our mailing list you won't get an invitation, which are currently sent out
only by snail mail.

$20.00 donation to the scholarship fund
we will send you the DVD "What a
Time It Was! Growing Up In A Small Town Called Las Vegas."
It was created
for the LVHSAA by Lynn Zook.
The video includes many scenes of old Las Vegas and
interviews with 21 LVHS alumni.
